What each portal covers — and which questions find their answer there.
Five sites, five specialist fields. They came about one after another and are listed here in that order. Each stands on its own: its own editorial team, its own directory, its own address – and none stands above another.
Implantology

The oldest of our sites and the most extensive. It covers the dental implant from the first consideration to the aftercare: when it is an option, how the procedure runs, what a bone graft means, how long the healing takes and what to reckon with. Added to it is a directory of practices with an implantology focus and place pages for searching nearby.

Everything about the gums and the supporting structures of the teeth. Bleeding gums, periodontitis, receding gums, the systematic periodontitis treatment and the aftercare that decides whether it holds. The connections with the rest of the body — diabetes, cardiovascular disease, pregnancy — are there too.

Orthodontics

Orthodontics for children, adolescents and adults. What braces there are, what fixed and removable appliances achieve, how clear aligners work, what the insurer pays at which grading and what treatment in adulthood means. Plus the common misalignments, each explained separately.

Dental prostheses

The portal for everything that comes before treatment. Professional tooth cleaning and how it runs, oral hygiene at home — brushing technique, interdental spaces, aids —, fluoridation and sealing, a tooth-friendly diet, children's teeth and care in later life.
